Cabin Leader Application

Job Descriptions:

Sr. Cabin Leader

Ages 18 (High School Grad) – 26

One of the most impactful and valued aspects of Camp Gilead’s ministry is our Cabin Leaders. Each week, Cabin Leaders provide intentional care, mentorship, and leadership to a group of 10–12 campers, investing in their lives both spiritually and personally.

Senior Cabin Leaders are expected to:

  • Intentionally invest in the lives of their campers

  • Build meaningful, Christ-centered relationships

  • Help create one of the most memorable weeks of each camper’s summer

  • Guide campers through the Word of God

  • Encourage and lead them toward a closer relationship with Jesus Christ

While Cabin Leaders make a lasting difference in the lives of campers, the experience is equally life-changing for those who serve. Through daily ministry, leadership responsibility, and Christ-centered community, Cabin Leaders grow deeper in their own faith, develop spiritual maturity, strengthen leadership skills, and gain a clearer sense of God’s calling on their lives.

In addition, serving at Camp Gilead fosters friendships built on shared faith and purpose—relationships that often last a lifetime.
