After School Bible Clubs

After School Bible Clubs are one of the founding activities of the CBM Camp Gilead ministry. We are pleased to be able to continue to offer them today. Essentially, Bible clubs allow us to partner with local churches while discipling kids.

How does a Bible club work?

We pick up your child from school one day a week. We have game time (dodgeball, kickball, 4 square, etc.), snack time, and lesson time (Bible lesson and Bible memory). These are staffed by Camp Gilead trained and approved volunteers.

The general time of a Bible Club is from 3-5 pm, depending on the school. Bible Clubs occur once a week and continue with the school calendar. There is no cost involved. Quarterly we will try to have a Camp Gilead activity, where we will go to our campsite for the club rather than the church. This is a way the children can get a glimpse of what it would be like to be a summer camper. Bible Clubbers have the opportunity to participate in a camp scholarship program that includes Bible lessons and Scripture memorization work with the potential to earn a free week of summer camp.
