Gary and Connie Simpson



   Gary came to Camp Gilead as a camper in the 1950's and 60's. He has been on the Board [of Directors] for a number of years. He and Connie now serve the camp as its Executive Director. These duties include organizing the many day to day tasks that need to be done around the camp. One of their goals is to see the camp used year-round and to see children and teenagers come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Connie is also very active in the office work that needs to be done.

 

Scott and Debi Simpson

   Scott and Debi are our newest staff members here at Camp Gilead. They have three children, Annie, Dale, and Kenny, who love Summer Camp. Scott and Debi are in charge of the kitchen worker program during the Summer camping season. Scott will have the responsibility of presenting Camp Gilead to the local churches and promoting the different ministries that we have here at camp. They will also be involved in our retreats during the Fall, Winter, and Spring.

Gordon Hurlburt



   Mr. Gordon, as he is known to the campers is a valuable asset to our ministry here at Camp Gilead, and has been serving here for over ten years. Mr. Gordon's work includes grading the Bible lessons that the campers complete, helping in the registration process, operation our camp store and teaching Bible clubs during the school year. Gordon is also very active in his church, Lake Morton Community Church, in Lakeland, FL.

Ron and Sherry Yeater



Ron and Sherry have had a long association with Camp Gilead. Over the years they have done many things to help with the ministry here. Presently they are involved with our outdoor education programs and with the bookkeeping duties.
